“We ordered the Seafood Platter plus an extra piece of fish to share. The portions were huge and the seafood was cooked to perfection. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.EDITWe visited again in February 2024, and the food was not good. My husband had the clams, and they were very small and grossly overcooked to the point where they were hard and crunchy. My haddock bites were overcooked and dry. We should have mentioned it right away but didn't.I don't know whether this restaurant is under new management but what we received was no where near the quality of our last visit. We definitely won't be recommending and will not return.“

“I used to go to the original Jessy's in Dartmouth. They were one of the originals to do the massive slice. They were some of the best in the 90's. We'll, after 20 yrs, they are still doing it right. Best pizza I have had since returning back to Nova Scotia.“

“We ordered tandoori chicken pizza. It was best pizza we ever had. They have a lot options even though they have paneer pizza if you looking for veg options. They make everything (dough and sauce) from scratch. A lot cheese to hold the toppings. Pizza was so tasty and flavourful. Crust was soft and cooked to perfection. Store was clean and staff was friendly. It was 10/10 and we highly recommend their pizzas. Definitely going back and support local business.“

We don't mind waiting a few minutes for freshness as this isn't a fast food joint.The burgers were tasty, and the fries were good, too. “This has become a “go to” restaurant to meet with friends and family to enjoy a plate of wings and a cold pitcher. The wing menu is so extensive, you may need a navigator to walk you through all of the various flavour combinations. The serving staff can easily help you make your selections. Recommended!“

“Was there for supper tonight. Pleased to see that it was busy even though it meant we had to wait. The wait itself was really reasonable and the woman who waited on us was friendly, outgoing and a pleasure to deal with. My husband and I love their burgers and tonight did not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back! Update. We were there tonight, same location. Just as fantastic, hot and tasty as the last time. Kendal rang us through and she was super cheerful and really great to deal with. The entire staff made our meal one we really enjoyed.“

“Food was absolutely perfect and so was customer service was a great experience however the atmosphere wasn't up to par since there was like one or two fruit flies wandering about and there were small crumbs on the seats but overall absolutely perfect.“

“Been here several times. Soup comes cold. Burger is raw and gross, fish tasted like dirty cooking oil. Had to go to the bar to get beers after my glass sat empty for 10 min and server walked past several times. Let’s try A 3rd time. Well fish was very bland no flavour some parts undercooked. Watched others have to go to the bar to get their drink, because the server ignored them, or just wasn’t paying attention c“

“I’ve been going through this A&W drive-thru on average of once a week for a few years now. I work night shift and a lot of mornings you just don’t feel like going home to make supper at 7:00am. I have always had great food and great service - especially since it’s probably super annoying to have to make a burger & onion rings as soon as you open, when everyone else is there for breakfast. Despite this, the staff have always been extremely friendly and prompt. My favourite thing about the staff is that they are the same people that were there a few years ago when I first started visiting. You can tell they take pride in their work and treat this place as their own, and it really shows in the customer experience. I hope A&W values what a great team they have at this location - especially the morning crew!“
