A quiet off season lunch with my mom in this charming restaurant was the highlight of our day. Cindy was welcoming and provided the friendly service you expect at a Cape Breton establishment. The food was DELICIOUS! We will be back.Vegetarian options: Good veggie burger. The best Greek salad I've ever had!
Ordered a burger from Coal Miners over the holidays and wow, very impressive in size and taste. I had the mountie burger with fries which are freshly cut, the burger was so tasteful and big I could barely finish it. I made the effort to eat the burger and have my fries last, which I didn't finish. The two staff working in the morning (2 ladies) were amazing! Super friendly and didn't even get mad when we made a ketchup mess all over the table.We each had the two egg combo. Generous portions and my eggs were perfect. My husband's sausages were delicious. My bacon was cooked well on one side but raw(ish) at the other. Perfect leftovers for the dogs in the car!Thanks
