These guys are always accommodating every time I come in. The enthusiasm is great, and every menu item is quality and well-priced. A few weeks ago, the owner (I presume) got me to look at their unreleased menu options. They offered to make whatever I wanted on the menu. Afterward, they came out with a bunch of different sauces for my partner and me to try.
Everything was delicious, definetly my favorite cafe.

Came in Christmas Eve morning and it was toasty warm and staff were so friendly. I asked if the breakfast sandwich was cut in half as I wanted to share with my mom and they served it on two plates. Little touches like this keep you coming back.

Gross slimy substance in bottom of my chai latte today. I took a picture but can’t upload. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had that happen and I order chai lattes often at other locations. Won’t be back!

Half Acre is a regular (semi annual) stop for me. I was looking forward to my gluten-free lunch today, but I was seriously let down. Staff were clearly ill-informed about allergens, and disinterested in helping me find other suitable options. When I was eventually offered an alternative, I had lost all faith in the safety practices of the restaurant so just had a coffee and ate elsewhere. A real shame.
