Taralyn was the worst server.
Not only was she extremely rude & only talked to us when she had too take our orders. She set the tip option and clicked 20%, then told my husband to tap it so he wouldn’t notice…..
very sneaky
terrible food. terrible caesar as well. would never go back.
The atmosphere is relaxed, there’s a sense of time slowing down emphasized by dated interior featuring iron and corny slogans- definitely your grandparents’ vibe. The burger was inoffensive but wouldn’t call it delicious. Spinach salad was fresh and Pilsner did whatever it’s supposed to do. Staff lovely, attentive and accommodating.

The food was barely passable the server slow and inattentive I’m allergic to fish and I tasted fish in the fries. Also I was FORCED to pay a 20%tip when none of the experience was worth it. I’ll never eat there again.

I always loved going to the Kings Arms in years past when I had the opportunity to go and recommended it to others quite often. What I used to enjoy was the relaxed atmosphere, good food, service, reasonable prices and ambience.
Not having been there for some time I looked forward to going to the Kings Arms for one of my favorite drinks during the recent Apple Blossom parade.
Though the pub was rather full with sit down patrons when I went in.. the two bartenders behind the bar were not in the midst of taking or fulfilling orders when I arrived. I politely asked if I could have a Swedish berry drink (made up of amaretto, banana liqueur, red sourpuss and cranberry juice).
The female bartender responded by looking me in the eye and immediately saying a stern "NO"... nothing else, just NO. I politely asked if there was a reason for that and she responded with a stern "we are NOT making any fancy drinks today".
Granted it would have been a busy day for them but neither her or the bartender next to her were serving anyone at all at the bar when I asked for the drink. There were no other patrons at their large side of the bar at the time and it appeared that they had the ingredients.
It would have only taken a short time to make it and the bartender had such a cold demeanor in her refusal. She actually came off as hostile.
I rarely get the opportunity to get out to do something fun these days so to be able to go to one of my old favorite pubs and order my favorite drink and just soak up the atmosphere was something I was looking forward to.
Not anymore, at least not at the Kings Arms.

Let's let in as many people as possible, provide almost no service and be surprised when a fight breaks out. Yeah I know your short staffed so limit the # of people you let in.
