I would give it a 5* ,, But We were there while there was live entertainment. Far too loud. We were at the back of the main room and couldn’t have a conversation. I’ve been there without entertainment and the atmosphere is 5*I recommend the Steak and Guinness Pie. 5*

We were intending on going somewhere else and then found out that the other place was just a takeout. Then we looked across the street and we saw the King's Arm Pub, we decided to eat there. We are glad we did!At first when you go in the front door, it is a little confusing as there are like three doors or even more to get into the pub. We chose the door on the right, and then we got inside and realized any of the doors would have lead us to the pub itself. Then another confusing aspect is that there are no signs saying whether we were supposed to seat ourselves or if we needed to wait to be seated. We eventually found a server and she told us to sit wherever we wanted. We sat in a booth close to the big fireplace, which is one they actually use we were told. The bar is also really massive and really nice wood. The place seems like it is an old pub from way back.We ordered our food, it was wing night which also includes thai chicken bites, so we had some of them, I had a triple cheese and bacon burger with a side cesar salad and then Meagan had a cobb salad. When our food came we could not believe the amazing portion sizes! My burger was massive and her cobb salad was as big as a full sized dinner plate in a big bowl. It was very delicious also! We did not have room for dessert unfortunately. I am sure that would have been amazing too!Lorna S did a great job as our server, it was busy and her and one other server were doing the whole pub, I believe someone else was just coming in when we left. It was busy though! The pub itself is also quite big and seats a good amount of people. We will definitely need to go back again and get some more delicious food! Maybe the fireplace will be in use next time too!TLDR - Amazing food, atmosphere, and service! Would definitely recommend eating here if in Kentville! We most certainly will be back! ??

Monday night, quiet music in the background so good for talking. Great service, good recommendations for drinks and food. Staff accommodating for meal substitutions (large bowl of veggies on the side rather than chips). Great meal sizes that were sooo tasty (we tried the ribs, and the steak and Guinness pie). Very comfortable in the booths. Free wifi.

Just at the end of the season where it's warm enough to sit on the patio-take a raised table so you can see the street traffic. It was a bit busy and seemed like there was only one server but she was cheerful. Had the haddock bowl -substantial ,fresh and tasty and the 3 cheese and triple bacon burger-order if you are hungry as it was quite large in size. Was a good spot to just sit and relax on a Saturday afternoon

My sisters and I were starving after a long long flight from the States and The Kings Arms was open so we stopped in for dinner. We all agreed it was the best meal we had in Nova Scotia! The food is amazing, well prepared and everything was very fresh. We actually didn’t have much hope for the food when we saw how cheap it was, boy we were wrong. The live band was insanely talented as well. And, as it was NS, Canada, the service was warm and welcoming. The beer selection was great as well.

I was sick for three days, eat at your own risk.

Terrible is not the word . Frozen horrible fish they passed off as pan-fried and clearly was not. Waitress told me yes when I asked if it was frozen. So 18.99 for boxed frozen haddock and McCain fries ...in Nova Scotia is unacceptable. Many places I could have gone ...won't make this mistake again. Don't waste your money.

Incredible experience. I went on 2 dates here with my boyfriend so far. Probably tried half the menu by now. The service amazing, Food amazing, And the décor was stunning. Even the bathrooms where so nice. They are not actual stalls but tiny rooms so you have more privacy. Such a nice place to hangout especially with a couple of friends, Going on a date ect. They also don't skip out on the bacon they put on the burgers I felt like I was eating a pack of bacon on the burger it was SO good. And best Mac n cheese ever had. The waitress who waited on us was also so nice and friendly. Thank you for this experience. For sure gained returning customers here.

I hadn't visited the Kings Arms in many years but it is truly such a beautiful building and I love to see that they have some vegan options on the menu. I decided in the vegetable stir-fry but they also offer a vegetable bowl and veggie curry, as well as the Beyond burger on their dinner menu. The stir-fry itself was alright, nothing too special but did the trick but it's worth a visit to see the historic building with a beautiful brick fireplace, stained glass windows and skylights. If you are looking for a drink or a bite, this is a great place to go.

Oh boy. Let's start with the prosCheap food, friendly staff, and cheap drinks (from what I saw)The cons.Food was decent at best, some parts inedible, but we also came to a pub for brunch on a Sunday, so expectations weren't crazy high.Staff taking orders without a notepad. They forgot someone's request and had to re-ask, and completely missed a drink. Overall not the worst experience I've had, but I'm sure this place (based off previous reviews) is great for a night out. Don't let my review completely deter you from trying them.
