“Pretty sure I had the best poutine of my life here. Wow! Hot all the way to the last fry. It was outstanding. We ordered a hamburger and a 1 piece fish and chips and asked to upgrade the fries to a poutine. It was massive, enough for a family of 4 but my husband and I devoured it, even though I couldn’t move afterwards. The fish was cooked to perfection. The burger was fresh and delicious.“

Crispy, thick, juicy and tartar sauce was best match with fish.Coleslaw was also good. I really liked it.If you order 2 pieces, I would recommend add on tartar sauce! “It was a nice experience but was very sad that most of the menu was off limits to me because the deep fryer is also used for the shellfish on the menu and I have an allergy. Most restaurants do not fry their shellfish with their other items. Staff was friendly and service was great, but really wish I could have ordered what I would have liked to instead of being so limited.“

“Rocking the teen-burger combo again at A&W Prince st in a Sydney NS .. amazingly fresh as usual !!In all honestly the chubby chicken burger combos are anything but chubby in 2023-24!Shrink-flation with super thin chicken paddy’s! Of course you pay more but get less! Not to pick on A&W as you see this at a lot of local restaurants nowadays!“

“I have eaten, at one time or another, at every single fast food restaurant in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and my visit to the North Sydney Wendy's is the only time that I've ever gotten hot food. Very friendly staff, and as I was waiting for my order the worker that was putting it on the tray said "Whoah, this is supposed to be takeout!" He spilled a few fries transferring the food to the bag and without my asking, immediately went over to the fryer to top up the fries. I got exactly what I'd ordered, which is again something that I don't typically experience at other fast food outlets. Wendy's in North Sydney is the Cadillac of fast food outlets in the CBRM!“

“Have been here three or four times since the place opened. I live in Halifax, so it's only when I visit family in CB that I get the chance to go here. Tasty, homemade grub. The owner runs the place and is very friendly. I can't comment on the items I tried awhile ago because it's been too long to remember details. However today, in Dec 23 2023, I came to eat breakfast in with my parents. They opted for the table furthest in the rear to avoid any draft near the door. You get in line to order and oay in advance, and they bring the food out to you. It took about 15 mins today I would say, and it was busy. The owner mentioned that once they sold out of all the breakfast items, they'd just close for the day and reopen on the 27th. We got there about 10am and were lucky we didn't wait any longer bc it lined up a good dozen people after us. There are maybe six tables or so, that seat four each. Many customers are take-out obviously. Anyway, I enjoyed my breakfast burrito. Comes with bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, veg, side of potato. I asked for mine with just bacon, as I don't like anything too heavy on the meat. The size isn't very big-looking, but that's exactly how I like it. I ended up quite full and struggled to eat the full thing. I highly recommend getting the potatoes grilled (very tasty with some caramelized onion) vs the deep fried home fries. My dad said they tasted fishy, as they are cooked in the same vat as the fish cakes I guess. Nonetheless, I remember enjoying their poutine before, as well as the sell-out popular fish & chips on Good Friday. (Call in advance!). I definitely will come back here another time, not during peak hours, and try some other items.“

“Absolutely delicious food, and fast service. I ordered at 6:30 and was here by 6:50, and I’m a 6 minute drive away. You get the quickness of a fast food service and the deliciousness of a top notch restaurant. And to mention, the delivery guy is super chill. Last time I ordered was the exact same speed and deliciousness, never fails to impress me.“

“Visited here while in Sydney for a curling event. It was close to our hotel, and recommended by a local friend. The food was excellent. I had the Pan Seared Haddock, my dinnermates had the Winter Barbecue (a ribs dish) and the Filet Mignon. Everyone loved their meals. The atmosphere is lovely. There was even live music by (I think) Jordan Musycsyn, who was really amazing. It was a great surprise. We didn't realize there would be live music. The restaurant is located in the Membertou Convention Centre, which made for a really interesting location. There is a fascinating museum-like exhibit celebrating Mik'maw history and culture in the Convention Centre hallway. It was very well done. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the venue.“

“Went through the drive thru, and ordered an old favorite - the original chicken sandwich! It was good, but never as good as the memory. If anyone remembers when they were first around our area, they used to have a Ham & Cheese sandwich on the menu. Oh my! That, too, was one of the originals, but it was taken off the menu many, many years ago! I remember it, too, and would love to see it back! In any, BK is always consistent, no matter the time. Enjoyed my sandwich as expected!“

“I got the Butter Chicken with the extra spicy option. It was amazing! The taste was perfect and it was easily the spiciest thing I've had in Sydney that I haven't had to make myself.I like to order garlic naan with it and it is a next level experience. Also it's reasonably priced. Chef gill is too good in food?. I got indian taste after so long time . Thank you Chef gill for that indian taste ?“
