Such a lovely place to go if you are in Mahone Bay Area! Lovely good, great ambiance and sometimes - live music!
We had the cheese and charcuterie board, the Meredith and the Buffalo Betty pizza followed by the oven baked cookies and carrots cake. Everything was delicious, the decor was cozy and the live music really added to ambience. The staff was really nice and we had a great time. I will gladly recommend this restaurant.
Great dining experience. Cozy restaurant with wood oven in the dining area. Service and food were amazing. First dining experience and I will definitely be back!
Really a terrible dining experience. We were concerned when we witnessed the server telling the kitchen how to cook an egg (it was served with a broken yolk and cooked completely solid). The worst wood-fired pizza we have ever seen or tasted. Absolutely no aromatics, no pleasing wood-fired flavour and the supermarket-quality beefsteak tomatoes on a crust that might have done better as a communion wafer. An absolutely tragic waste of a wood-fired oven.
Love this place. Eat there often. Never disappointed! Staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming.
Excellent tasting food, wonderful ambiance, friendly and courteous service, what else could you ask for?
Cozy, welcoming space with amazing wood-oven pizza. The live music was an unexpected bonus and it was just the right volume so we could still talk. Will definitely be going back!
Delicious food! We loved all our pizzas - Broderick, Hutton and Meredith! We did also get the full board, which was good, but found it a bit pricy for the amount you actually get. But otherwise, everything else was great!!
Very cosy intimate restaurant, the pizza was amazing, I had the brie and caramelized onion with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio, their wines and beer are also very good. Staff are extremely friendly! Would definitely recommend!

Nice little spot. Certainly something that was missing in MB. Nice wine selection with plenty of local options. Pizza was pretty good. Cozy and good vibe.

Pizza was not cooked long enough The cookie was the same. Doughy in the middle. The staff don't know how to make a proper Spanish coffee.
Very cool place with fantastic staff! We had a wonderful experience there and would be happy to be back.

They had some good pizzas but the food intolerance adaptations were bland. The people dining with me were raving about the Indian foodl that they serve on Monday nights. I like that they only had two desserts but they did both of them right. Debris with the hakap berries was probably my favorite.

It took me one day of working here to see the many red flags that have been talked about by locals. Basically I had expressed improper food storage and that the recipes were lacking in quality. She proceeded to send a huge email belittling everything about any other pizzeria and my own time in the pizza industry. She also was very willing to take the opportunity to bad talk her neighbours. She proceeded to say I am not a Betty and I will be terminated. Throughout my many years In kitchens i have never dealt with such a horrible owner and it really reflects into the tourist trap pizzeria that they have supplied mahone bay. When I work at a place I have an actual passion for the food and will not be a yes man for the bosses jaded dreams. The cross contamination and food storage is gross (foods left out in hot temperates and exposure levels of over 41f- 5c, raw meats stored over vegetables. And so on) makes me feel as I have to write this review as I know I may seem like an employee who is just upset I was let go. But I feel it’s my duty as my devotion to pizza makes me have to write this review and allow people to know of Danielle’s improper food practices. And I am happy to be let go so soon because I’m not a Betty, I’m a pizza cook with a passion and enough knowledge to know the food you supply is not very good and teetering on dangerous to eat.

Very nice place physically, but pizza (its apparent claim to fame) is only so-so. (It is wood-fired, which is a plus, but the crust is that thin, flat-bread type which does nothing for me---though that may be a matter of personal taste.) Our visit was marred by a relentlessly upselling waiter who encouraged us strenuously to add fried onions (for a $3 surcharge) which did nothing for the pizza. Upselling is always a bad idea---guests feel pressured, and if the upsold item doesn't match the billing all that is left is a bad taste.
