The Mud Slode Cafe is an extension of the general store and has been an excellent addition to help locals and tourists alike have a place to sit down to eat or get take out.”

“Very fast service this week when we were there, and the plates were generous, fresh and delicious. Three of us had scallops, fish and chips and mozzarella sticks and all was excellent. Everything was ready in 10 minutes and we sat at one of the shaded picnic tables. There is also a large deck with lots of table seating. The restaurant is a fishing boat and the seafood place is a lighthouse that you can go up to see the nice view.
Also for dog owners there are large shaded kennels available on the grass under the trees with water and water dishes even! Very traveler friendly!”

I was very pleased with the service we received from him and even though he wasn’t sure about some of our items, he tried hard to get it all right the first time and wasn’t afraid to ask questions.
