The toppings are also unique with a premium pepperoni that offers a smoked and garlic forward taste. The cheese is generous and tasty. The crust holds this back from being better.Crust: 6.5 / 10Medium-thick, with a cracker like consistency. It lacks flavour and can struggle to hold up to the toppings.Sauce: 8 / 10The unique brown sauce is more tangy than spicy, with a hint of sweetness. It is the highlight of the pie and truly showcases the Pictou County style of pizza.Cheese: 7.5 / 10Tasty and very generous amount on each pie. The weight of the cheese and toppings is a bit much for the crust, which flops at the end and can cause the top to slide off.Toppings: 7.5 / 10The local pepperoni is smokey and has a garlic flavour. It's thicker cut and you get a generous amount. It's different than your standard pizza pepperoni profile in terms of taste and texture, as it doesn't char due to the thickness, but it's a very nice surprise in terms of flavour.Very friendly and efficient service, with good food pricing and cold beers on tap.“
“Pretty good food, nice waiters and waitresses, took a little bit to get our order in but I’d assume it’s too give the customers time to order so not really trying to complain there, good family restaurant.If you’re going there with a family that also has young kids then please try and sit away from the bar (there are places to sit where you don’t even notice it).Other than that pretty good place 8.5/10“
“A great experience whilst in Nova Scotia visiting my friend. I had come halfway around the world from New Zealand to meet up with my BBF before we got too old to travel ?. Shaun's place was delightful. Great entertainment personally by Shaun and his band. Beverages and snacks served, making it a wonderful evening of music and laughter. Thank you for such a great opportunity to renew memories of past eras with old time music. I certainly recommend this venue for a great night out. ❤️“
