Came here on a whim on our way to Sydney. Got a grilled cheese with lobster and a few pastries. My god was it good. If and when I come back to Cape Breton I’ll make a point in coming back. Great little place, plus the people were very friendly.

What a find! Stopped for a sandwich with the hubby. We were both thrilled with our choices. Have the sandwich on their porridge bread…miss it already!

great service!
Visited here a couple years ago and enjoyed it. Decided to visit again. Found the prices high for the food value. A plain grilled cheese sandwich was $11 alone. Fries were $8. We had the chicken fingers and fries which was $19. Food was okay...nothing spectacular. The coleslaw was dry... basically cabbage with no sauce. Cappuccino was $5 which is reasonable, until we saw the tiny cup it was served in.
Service was good and friendly.
Perhaps their prices are for the tourists that come by after visiting the Cabot Trail?
Wasn't overly impressed.

Easily the best lobster roll I had. You can tell the lobster is fresh and just made after ordering. A good amount of lobster was given with lemon aioli that ELEVATED the roll!!! The toasted roll was toasted to perfection with light butter. Such a satisfying meal, highly recommend it!! 🦞🍋

Great spot to stop on the Cabot Trail. We purchased a loaf of Oat Bread and it was delicious!
