5 Best Seafood Restaurants near North Sydney

“We chose to eat here due to the great reviews. But be aware, it is not easy to get in. They are closed Monday and Tuesday. I had to make reservations 5 days out. We liked it so much, we all wanted to return, but there were no openings during our remaining time in the area. Plan ahead! The food was delicious! The service is over-the-top good. The chef came out to the table a couple of times and gave us samples of a couple of things. Seating is limited, so this is why you have to reserve so far in advance. I'd say that this is the best place we ate during our stay on Cape Breton Island. We all loved it.“

“Me, my wife, and our 10 year old daughter ate here tonight for the first time and it won't be our last. The food was excellent, the views on the patio were amazing, portions were large, prices were very reasonable and the local beer was awesome too.
I had the burger with hand cut fries and it was the best restaurant burger I've had in ages. Definitely a homemade patty (almost took a star away because it was quite salty, but it was so good I wouldn't complain about it). My wife and daughter had the fish and chips and my daughter who only started liking fish devoured it and ate some of my wife's. Delicious lightly beaded, very fresh, well seasoned haddock and fantastic fries.
Staff were friendly and attentive especially given how busy they were.

“We are from Ontario so we were looking for good, affordable, local restaurants and found this incredible place! Had the turkey dinner and coconut cream pie for dessert. The rest of our party had the chicken parm and lasagna and also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Live music was incredible and the whole place just felt like a home away from home!“
