“A great place to fine while looking out over the port. Food was outstanding. Ordered the fish and chips, bacon wrapped shrimp, and muscles. All divine. Although the lobster roll was good I prefer mine warm rather than cold. Would highly recommend!!“
“Freaking Awesome Place!!!We happened upon this restaurant coming back from a day at the Louisbourg Fortress. Starving and not sure where to eat we Googled Lobster Pound and Moore. Rich, the chef, and his wife who manages the service, were charming, efficient, friendly and welcoming. We got the last table available and lucky us. Our food was perfecto, the service was outstanding. We're staying in Baddeck and already trying to figure out how to come back tomorrow. “It was like a flavor party in my mouth! Those stuffed mushrooms, they were so good, and the potatoes, man, they were crispy on the outside and all soft and garlicky on the inside. And the veggies, they added this pop of color and freshness. Seriously, it's like a full meal that leaves you wanting more. If you're ever at that restaurant, you gotta try it!“
“We visited The Dory tonight and we are so glad we did! Make a reservation for sure, because it was quite busy, but it was so worth the wait. The portions were larger than expected and every dish was full of flavour and so perfect. The seafood chowder is to die for - my husband said he wished it was a bottomless bowl. The staff was very attentive despite the busy-ness. Overall an incredibly positive experience.Dietary restrictions: As someone with Celiac disease I was grateful for the number of safe options that there were available and how delicious the options were!“
