Best bread ever. Perfect pain au chocolat. It’s a dive. Dress warm here in winter and come ready to buy lots.

Best croissant I've had.... I think ever! Including those I've eaten on multiple trips to France ? The blueberry scone was also incredible.

This place knows what’s up as they have an ALL DAY Breakfast Sandwich. Yes the ?’s are a must try especially if you ? them. Be sure to request sauce on the side or none if that’s not your jam. Everything is made in house and loved sitting outside and could easily take the sandwich to go to the beaches nearby. The soft serve ice cream ? machine didn’t stop while I was there so it is a must stop off that’s your jam.

Amazing Food! We are from Germany and spend 3 weeks in NS visiting and friend. We did a road bike tour and stopped by: the patisserie were so good. Highly recommend??

Truly one of my favorite places of all time. My party tried all of the sandwiches and while all were popular, the consensus was that the vegan one was the best. The veggie sandwich is--truly--I think the best sandwich I've ever had. Everything was incredible! Thank you to Desi and the whole staff for having such an incredible establishment. I only wish it were open every day!!

Love this place so much. Our number one stop on the south shore. The croissants are the best we've ever had, the canele's, sinfully delicious. The icing on the cake is all the beaches nearby. A must go on the south shore! Get there early, they tend to sell out by lunch time.

We stopped by for a little pastry treat and coffee! The place was packed so we couldn’t sit in :( We got a raspberry croissant-ish treat, it was so good me and my accomplice got into a fight because he didn’t want to share!!! The coffee was very nice and the vibe was very eclectic and old school fun!

Ploughman’s is such a gem. Lots have commented about their out of this world ? croissants and pastries and that is all true. Best I’ve ever had. Don’t miss their lunches too. The porchetta sandwich is so good and their frozen treats are amazing.I most appreciate their community spirit and standing up for fairness, justice and human rights. They give much back to the community through donations, fundraisers and in many other quieter ways. Grateful for them.
