“Small eatery for inhouse made savory and sweet snacks and you can order off the large chalkboard menu, too but I didn't check it out because I was on a group bike ride and we wanted snacks. I had a delicious chocolate chip cookie that had a few regular potato chips stuck in the top. I loved this imaginative idea- Sweet and salty! A couple of people had a focaccia and it looked really good, too.”

“All I can say is WOW! I took my boyfriend out for dinner here tonight as it’s been on my horizon for a while and i’m so glad we finally went. The duck was delicious, moist and so flavourful. My boyfriend had the rabbit and it was so tender and the carrots with this was fantastic.”

All mains were brought out at a different time, and everyone else was finished eating before I got mine. My appetizer was brought out when I was ready to leave. It was definitely busy, but should be more prepared. I will still go back, because the food is great.”

“I’ve been a regular customer since 2021 and Fancy Pants has become my favourite spot. The food always tastes amazing and is made with real ingredients, including lots of local products. I can eat out and genuinely feel good afterward. Between the quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the small community vibes, you can tell there’s a lot of care and love put into both the food and the experience. “Great salad, great cocktails. Pasta is not homemade and it shows compared to previous location. Suspect sauces are not homemade as they were not as bold as last location. No scallops, a favorite of mine. Only one desert, Tiramissou, did not try. Great service and great atmosphere.”

We have staff that are severely allergic to Gluten, Natasha took our concerns very seriously and delivered a beautiful agreement of trays all gluten free, the onion dip was a huge hit! “Well everything there is incredible.. but if you’re a real original Nova Scotian and you want an original “ Bubba Sub “ from times past… here is the place on the south shore to get it. Donair sauce on point , donair meat perfect. The sub bun. The garlic made by the same circle of friends that em them for us in high school … this is where you go. This is certified by Nova Scotians as the absolute real deal. You can eat inside like a tourist or take that bubba sub down to the water so you can enjoy it while making fun of that one dorey that will never sell. Do it Proper , you ! This place is perfect in all its originality true to the east coast!!!”
