My wife and I ordered the scallop burger and chips combo. The burgers were delicious, and the fries were nice and crispy. However, the highlight of the stop was chatting with Donna as she prepared our meal. The shop is right off the highway, so it's very convenient. Come by and support a local gem. Donna is old school, so I'm not sure if she will see this, but if she does, we want to say thank you so much for the meal, and we wish you all the best.
Can't say enough good things about this food and Donna! Found her place randomly on our way to Melmerby Beach. She wrapped up our food to go and treated us to a glorious rendition of "Oh Canada". The price is right and the food was delicious (seafood platter and fish and chips). Perfectly cooked and one of the best pieces of fish I had on our trip through Nova Scotia. Thanks Donna and I hope you get to vacation soon! Cheers from the sassy Ontario girl. ?

Who does not love a good ole fashion cheese burger.. well your in luck the owner makes a basic homemade cheese burger that is simple but excellent. Well worth the stop the lady who owns and runs it had been there forever. She makes it easy not to want to cook and grab a cheese burger and fries on the way home from anywhere.
Parking: Never had a problem fibding a place to park.
