While Visiting family in Nova Scotia recently, they took us to Country Bread Basket Bakery & Coffee Shop. What a truly wonderful spot. Just a short drive from Tatamagouche. We had an amazing breakfast.
Our son had the lobster roll and the rest of us had Breakfast Sandwiches. And I can say with out a doubt, the breakfast sandwiches were the best we have ever had.

I've been going to this bakery/Cafe for several years and have consistently enjoyed a good lunch and bought great bakery products. Unfortunately, today they were closed. I checked their website which reassured me they were open. It's a 45 minute drive each way and I was disappointed that nothing was posted on their web-site to warn me before setting off anticipating a pleasant, relaxing lunch.

Whether it's breakfast or brunch, you can count on classic home cooking. And the bakery also stocks lots of cookies, biscuits, pies, and some frozen meals.

My favorite bakery in Nova Scotia. Staff are lovely, and the variety of baked goods is excellent. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls, butter tarts and the bread and rolls are amazing

Wonderful spot! We stopped on our way back to NB. Bread was amazing! So many baked goods it was hard to pick just a few. I wanted to take everything home. What a lucky town to have such a pleasant spot for house made breads, baked goods.
