“A true Halifax landmark right in my neighbourhood. Tonight I witnessed amazing customer service. There were only two women taking care of both the front counter and drive thru and they nailed it. Watching them help each other out showed great teamwork.“

“Deliciously crispy, slightly spicy, salty fried chicken! I’ve had their wings, the quarter leg, and the chicken sandwich. The meat is seasoned so well and the batter is slightly thick but it makes for an amazing crunch. It is a little bit spicy but I love it that way. The place is small with limited seating, it’s more of a takeout place but they do package their food really well so it does not go soggy. This is my go to for wings. If you’re lucky you’ll get an extra wing ;)“

“We placed an order for pick up then had a flat tire. Our delivery driver Parth rescued us and was so helpful. He not only delivered our pizza, he lent us his jack and offered to change the tire. He is just starting and should be recognized for his awesome customer service. The store was committed to ensuring that our food met their quality standards by keeping it fresh. “The restaurant is predominately consistent with my orders. The food is usually fresh with their spicy meat being the best. Employees are friendly as well and they will help you if there was a mistake with your order on their side. One of them being Baljeet Kaur who always greets me whenever I enter. The music the staff plays also adds to the atmosphere making it cool spot!“

“Overall, good experiences with staff, food and atmosphere. My only criticism would be the change in the amount of filling in the blizzard cakes between the ones I’ve ordered over the years. Sometimes there’s a lot and it’s great, other times it’s been really stingy. More consistency needed, especially for such an expensive item.“

“I went to this A&W late at night for my pick up order, and the staff were energetic and happily serving customers amidst their closing duties. I requested freshly fried fries and chicken and they committed to the request. One of the staff also offered me a hot beverage while waiting owing to heavy rain.
One of the best customer service at a fast food restaurant. Hats off to the employees, they deserve a raise. Will definitely be back.“

“I go to this Dairy Queen location quite often . There is a cashier there , not sure of a name but she’s got blonde hair a nose ring , a septum and a tattoo on her arm. Let me tell ya she is amazing!! Every time I go in she makes me feel welcome and is so kind and always greets with a smile on her face . I genuinely think she should get a raise , or a pay bonus because her customer service is truly outstanding!“

“Pop machine glitched while we were there. Staff got it under control quickly.
Burger patties tasted very slightly like the propane grill on which they were cooked - not bad for an authentic taste but slightly unexpected.
My family liked it. We'll be back.“

“I'm going to be honest. It's McDonald's. It's hard to mess up. But my kids see the advertisements for Mario Kart or the Grinch and they literally get toys from multiple years ago. It's frustrating for them. And giving out toys that are just cardboard is ridiculous.“

“Could NOT be happier!!! The service was amazing here. I admittedly forgot to ask for no ice in my drink and asked for a spoon to scoop it out…the manager offered to make me a new one and even after I sad it was my mistake, she poured a new one and gave me both drinks. The cashier was new and the manager and another employee were very quick to make sure she got the help she needed without her having to struggle. The food was nice and warm. The restaurant, bathroom and tables were clean!!!! It was like stepping back in time 20 years. I will return here and do recommend to anyone who is tired of the crappy service most places have now.“
“This is a kiosk inside of Nova Scotia Community College's Institute of Technology. It was reported in an earlier review that the kiosk is not open to the public, which is completely untrue. You're more than welcome to drop by for a coffee if you're in the neighborhood.“

“I’m not sure what his name is but he was working the front counter, he had long black hair and was tall. He was super kind. Didn’t hesitate to bring our food over, play for a few seconds with my baby, and was just in general very kind and pleasant. I forgot to ask what his name was, but he was fantastic! His customer service was very genuine.“

“Great staff! Clean dining room and open 24/7… but they don’t have a pop dispenser for customers to serve themselves ! Not cool for so many reasons. I’m diabetic and need to ensure I didn’t received regular cola. I bring my own cup to refill saving them $$ for lids, cups and straws - not to mention the environment. The markup on pop is extravagant and they don’t offer refills.“
