It took me a while to realise that Truro is "closed" on Mondays. By the time I'd guessed it, it was pretty much closing time at Mario's, the only restaurant of any sort that answered its phone. I arrived by train, had no car, so I needed delivery to my motel. No problem! Ordering at the last second, I was promised a pizza cooked and delivered in 30 minutes. Eh voila! We celebrated our granddaughters 6th birthday there yesterday and they were amazing with the kids. Even taught the kids about making pizza and gave them their own dough to try with. The kids had a blast.

I have never tried Mario’s Pizza before. It came highly recommended by my family.I ordered a Donair pizza and a garlic fingers with bacon.Absolutely delicious! I’m a very big pizza guy and that is easily top tier for Donair pizza.Doesn’t skimp on the cheese or meat. Everything tastes fresh and the dough is tasty!
