The Island View Restaurant offers excellent food and stunning views from its picnic tables between the ocean and parking lot. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, even for large parties without reservations. The menu features fresh seafood like a pound of fat mussels for $10 and fried clams, along with great burgers, homemade bread, and sweets. The fish & chips and coleslaw are highly praised. Customers often enjoy substituting extra seafood instead of fries at no extra charge. The traditional dishes are authentic and flavorful, made with care, and the desserts are impressive. The friendly staff provides attentive service, creating an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. However, as of June 14th, 2025, the restaurant is closed indefinitely due to the passing of the co-owner.
