The Spitfire Arms Alehouse Reviews
Wow...our second time back. Spitfire never disappoints. My Steak and Guinness pie was hot and delicious! Our server were super friendly! We love a good old fashioned pub and this place ticks the box!
Had VERY good curry and rice last weekend. So good! Service was also excellent! The place is always busy, so nice to see in a local small town restaurant!
Service was good but the Hot Hamburger Sandwich was only warm and the patty had obviously been cooked before we ordered.

The restaurant features a beautiful interior and patio, creating a welcoming ambiance. The outdoor patio is especially popular, with a remodeled covered area that adds charm through lots of greenery and rustic touches. Standout menu items include the seafood chowder and fries, which are often praised for being seasoned and cheesy. The staff is energetic and attentive, making sure diners have a pleasant experience.
The Spitfire Arms Alehouse also offers a selection of burgers, including the well-liked Burger Wars burger, which many feel should stay on the menu permanently. The burger is consistently good, though some reviews mention that the flavor can vary. The restaurant is known for fast, friendly service and a good beer selection on tap, which customers highly praise.
Recent reviews highlight the delicious fish chowder and comfortable atmosphere. The service continues to impress, with staff members like Mackenzie and Allison receiving praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. One visitor noted the brisket in the brisket sandwich tasted less like brisket and more like roast beef, but still enjoyed the meal overall.
Overall, The Spitfire Arms Alehouse remains a favorite for casual dining in Windsor. It’s a place that combines great food, friendly service, and a clean, comfortable environment, making it a reliable choice for both locals and visitors alike.
