The Real Scoop Ice Cream & Espresso Shop

Stopped because it was the only place open for a hot drink. Ordered a chai. Asked for no foam and said I’d prefer more water than foam as the milk had already been steamed. I was told “there’s not a lot of foam” umm when you steam whole milk unless steaming with the wand completely submerged it automatically, it FOAMS. I was then told:”we get great reviews on our chai”. That’s great but MY $6.63 chai tea is not as I ordered and is greatly overpriced with the inch and a half of FOAM!!! Not a sip taken from the cup. Boiling my own water to top up now.

The defensive arrogance of all replies to less than perfect reviews is laughable. The art of gaslighting has been perfected by one so desperately unwilling to take accountability and merely offer a sincere apology. I mean someone didn’t look at the 3 50 inch TVs, another corrected for extreme prices paid and yet another schooled on superior ingredients used. Yes, I myself asked for no foam after I ordered after watching how the milk was foamed. I merely asked for more hot water at no literal cost, not even milk which I would not have expected at that point.
Thankfully there are 3 other superb coffee shops in this town and I’ll be following local friends sentiments and be sure to frequent them with my thrice annual tourist dollars.

Non dairy coconut chocolate with brownie. There was 10 of us so the wait was an hour long. The swings were so fun and the washroom was clean.

Great store made ice cream with a variety of mix-in options and store made waffle cones. Real espresso for the grown ups. The kids made us come back two days later for a second visit.

Ambience is great. So many options to try from. Only thing they have canned coffee and other goods but rest is made on the spot.

Absolutely incredible ice cream and they make their own cones! These days you pay so much for ice cream that I’d rather pay a bit more and get amazing quality like this. Definitely stop by and enjoy a treat!

Not exactly what I expected in a scooped ice cream. It was too sweet for me. I chose the salted caramel with Reese's peanut butter cups on the "favourites" menu. There are endless choices to create your own special treat! Waffle cones are superbly crisp and flavourful! If you have a sweet tooth and like ? you have to give this ice cream parlour a try.
