This place is a cute little Ethiopian restaurant to visit while in Yellowknife. I ordered the Mahiberawi combo plate (#3). I was blown away how much food was on the platter, the portions were huge (very stuffing for the average person). The platter came with a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes (e.g., tibs), all with their own unique taste but the food was great. I also like that injera flatbread is gluten free, so that's an added plus. Definitely give this place a try...
A curry and injera. I don’t even know what they made but got in late and called for take out just as they were closing (at 8pm! Unlike what website of HappyCow says). They made me this and I said a curry vegan and he’s like “yah yah I know”. So great slightly spicy
We loved this restaurant and the food! One of our favourite places for sure in Yellowknife. Big portions, fair price, high quality food. We got #3 the sampler platter and recommend it to anyone looking to try different dishes who has never had Ethiopian before.
