Great place for food friends and Golf!
This was a pretty good course. Just don't hit it in the brush. Plays a lot like a desert version of a links course. The putting was nice on these greens. Some holes offer a gulley/ravine at the end of a long drive. So be careful not to hit it too far off the tee. Nice facilities though.
We played Boulder Creek a few years ago. It is a good track layout wise. The conditioning is the issue. Play longer than you normally would. The fairways and rough areas, while still mostly covered in grass, are very hard. The ball rolls FOREVER. The range balls have pretty much had the dimples beaten off them. Our cart had 4 racing slick quality tires on it. All that being said, it is a fun track and I really hope it comes back. The absolutely gouge the crap out of tourists (we payed $70 on Golf Now), so make sure you get a decent rate before you go out. I would play again. It is a fun course, but the conditions do NOT warrant the $$$$ currently being charged.
