Great service, good range of fresh ice cream.

Over priced meh ice cream, disorganized store, employee was not interested in doing her job.
That said the disorganization may have been because it was late Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend and an hour before closing.

Oh and the candy cigarettes were stale as hell!!!

Hoped for a nice family ice cream time after a day kayaking. We were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness, a functional bathroom, malts (she said they ran out of malt), and customer service. This place has real potential, and may be better at times, but was disappointing. At such a slow business time, it shouldn’t be hard to have things in better shape.

Provides a nice escape from the heat via frozen food.

The girl at the counter ignored me and just looked grossed out when I said hello to her when she finally came out, 5 minutes after I’d been walking around. The place was filthy. I was scared to buy anything they made in house.

Had high hopes but our experience was poor 💔 the only employee working was on a personal call when we walked in and stayed on the call the entire time we were in the store. Seemed annoyed that we were interrupting. Told us that they can’t/don’t cut their caramel apples for customers (understandable okay) but ALSO said they were “out of milkshakes” which seems like something that shouldn’t happen at an ice cream store?
The place was also not very clean. I also heard the above-mentioned employee complaining that earlier today someone asked her “do I have to scoop my own ice cream or what” which confirms we weren’t the only ones she wasn’t keen on helping.

We stopped by Grandma Daisy’s Candy Store in the confectionery area of Boulder City with high hopes, but unfortunately it ended up being a letdown.

The macaroons were one of the biggest disappointments—they were hard and overly crispy instead of soft and fresh. We also ran into issues with the milkshakes, as they were unavailable due to the store being out of milk, which was frustrating since that’s a pretty basic offering for a candy shop.

On top of that, some of the labels in the display case didn’t match the items, which made things confusing when trying to order. That said, there were a few redeeming qualities—the selection of nostalgic and old-fashioned candies was interesting and fun to browse.

Overall, while the store has some charm and unique items, the quality issues and lack of availability made the experience disappointing.

Passing through and had to stop to check it out. Cutest little candy shop! They had toasted nuts (almonds and cashews, but out of the pecans), many ice cream flavors plus toppings, chocolate dipped items, and candied apples! Yum!! (They also cut the apple for you!) Def, worth your time to check it out if you like sweets & treats!

Not the largest selection of candy sure to being focused on older sweets but what they have is amazing! Highly recommend!

We just couldn't resist trying their maple fudge. To our delight it was very good. I would go back and try other things. They have sponge candy too, which you don't see very often in these parts.

The fudge came out to about $20 a pound.
