La Villita offers a wonderful experience for its guests. The staff is described as shockingly nice and accommodating, even during the Thanksgiving week. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant provides simple but decent food, with the carne asada burrito, rice, beans, and cheese being a popular choice. The hot salsa is fantastic and a great addition to the burrito. Drinks are free if you're playing at the nearby casinos, and the overall cost for a meal and drinks is very reasonable, around $21. The hotel also features a trail leading to the Hoover Dam, providing a great opportunity for dog walking and scenic views. While the rooms may not have been updated in decades, the hotel is considered the nicest of the "budget hotels" in the area, offering a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed for a good deal.
