You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. On top of that, the crew had amazing attitudes: friendly, welcoming, and just good people all around. Great people, even better food. Carson City BBQ catered our lunch and dinner at Rocka Locka Bang Bang (if you know you know) at the Nevada State Prison. These guys bring it! Award winning bbq ribs, brisket, and chicken. Even their sauce has won awards. Not only is their food top tier, their entire staff will make smile. They have my highest recommendation!

Carson City BBQ catered our wedding in Bridgeport and they were absolutely amazing! The tri tip and chicken were fantastic, and I heard nothing but complements from our wedding guests. We had plenty of food for our crowd of over 100, even after many went back for seconds. They were super easy to work with and did everything they could to help our event flow smoothly. What an incredible genuine gift, the owner of Carson City BBQ gifted me a free bottle of Original Carson City BBQ sauce and O goodness I was NOT expecting it to be this dam GOOD. I drank some straight from the bottle I couldn't wait to cook with it!!!!

We were given the Carson City Bbq rub in a basket full of goodies as a gift for Christmas. I was raised in Nevada but now live in Texas. My husband and I love the rub and we are almost out . Just ordered more and will give one as a gift also passing on the goodness . Love the flavor .

I'm from Texas and I know my barbecue. Carson City BBQ caters our Sunday night banquet, and the food is amazing. I am one of the chairmen of the Virginia City Hillclimb, a car time trial event that happens every September about 15 miles from Carson City. All of us look forward to getting Carson City BBQ for dinner.
Their pork ribs are so good and well seasoned that you'd be missing out trying them at first without sauce, but try both because their sauces are excellent as well. The smoked chicken is also great, and their sides are all traditional BBQ. Owner Phil is great to work with and his spreads are always top notch. Highly recommended!

Came here for the Candy Dance in Genoa and went to use my card and didn't see the cash only sign and I was met with so much attitude. I had cash to pay but I could tell she was over it. Food was OK, but definitely not worth the line and attitude, would not recommend.

We just ate their beef rib and corn bread last night at the big BBQ Cookoff/competition in Reno, NV and it was really truthfully the best rib I’ve ever eaten. They took tender, fall off the bone and juicy to a whole new level. Wow! Just wow! I’d go as far as to say it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’ve been all over the world and had a lot of great food. The corn bread was delicious too. I can’t wait to take my parents here someday. We will never forget this place. When these guys roll into town for a barbecue cookoff it’s like Michael Jordan or Wilt Chamberlain in their prime showing up for a basketball competition. Carson City BBQ is the G.O.A.T.!

Carson City BBQ saved the day after another vendor backed out two weeks before our event. Everyone I spoke to while scheduling and picking our menu was friendly and helpful. And the team that arrive to work the event were amazing.
Not only was the food great, but the team was even better. Prep and service went very smoothly, and they did a great job of making sure we got a good amount of the leftovers, but also making sure our guests that could use it were able to pack up plates to go.
