Crazy D's Hot Chicken offers delicious food in a welcoming, clean, and pleasant atmosphere that feels like a southern kitchen. The chicken is a standout, cooked right and nice and tender with a flour-style batter coating. The medium heat level is spicy enough to notice but not over the top. The tenders are a personal favorite, surprisingly filling, and come with dill pickles and a slice of bread. The crinkle cut fries are seasoned nicely and taste great, like the potatoes were cut minutes before serving. The menu also includes very good hamburgers, the best fresh mac&cheese, and a quite good new quesadilla.
The interior is pretty spartan with small chairs, but the atmosphere is chill and relaxing. The staff and crew are always friendly, helpful, and good. The food looks exactly like the pictures online and is absolutely worth the time and money, making eating there very affordable. They also offer a first time customer discount.
