“I like 2 shoot Pool at Remedy's. It is usually busy on the weekends late at night. Their bartenders are friendly as are their Customers & the Owners are terrific people who work hard & are hands on. I have a good time here. Most of my friends do not shoot pool nor go out late at night where as I'm use to late hours so when I go out to shoot Pool I'm usually by my self. I'm an older woman & there are very very few of us who go out late at night, even fewer who shoot Pool so that's 2 strikes against me Yet I do not let that stop me from doing what I love to do so long as i'm able to. Life does not need to be restrictive just because you become older. What has surprised me is how nice the younger people have been that I run into there are always . I can usually find someone to shoot pool & I like the music here. I feel comfortable going here by myself. There's a Juke Box filled with many different types of music, a dart board & a pin ball game.“
“Timber’s is a fantastic little local pub on a quiet street in Carson City. This is strictly a locals place which. during the day has generally an older clientele. The service is really 1st class and the beer is ice cold! There is no food, but there is fresh popcorn for free. “my first time here after work.. cute little out of the way.. nothing spectacular except the bartender came out from behind the bar to greet and take our order. But the best part? The women's room.. there is a heated seat and bidet (don't have to use).. and super clean and Hempz lotion. They went out of their way to think about the female demographic in a dude bar. Loved it.. and had a duo band which was fun.“
