I am not a person who writes reviews. But this restaurant caught my attention.
I decided to try this Mexican restaurant for my lunch break.
I called and ordered a carnitas burrito to go.
I'm eating and I'm halfway through as I write this.
The rice is soft and has good flavor.
Beans are the perfect amount for this burrito.
The meat is juicy, soft with flavor and has a very good measure of salt.
Accompanied by a little pico de gallo.
All this wrapped in a warm and soft flour tortilla.
The truth is that this burrito is delicious. Reminds me of mom's food. Made at home with a very special and fresh flavor.
You definitely have to try it. Whether it's the burrito or anything else on the menu.
I am delighted and of course I will return.
I miss my mother's food and this place has such a good flavor that it makes my mind go back to when I was a child.

We just ordered from Don Chepe's through a delivery service, so I can't comment on the service inside or the atmosphere - but I CAN tell you that this is easily the best Mexican food I've had in Carson City. And I was eating it after it sat on my doorstep for 20 minutes because I missed my notification. And it was awesome.
I got the street tacos al pastor. I *didn't* get a picture because they were gone in a heartbeat. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the cilantro didn't overwhelm the flavor of the tacos like I know you've experienced before.
My wife's birria tacos were *substantial.* She ordered three of them and tapped out after one-and-a-half. I had the solemn duty of making sure nothing went to waste.
The salsa was great, the chips were crispy and warm, the rice was particularly notable for its flavor, and refried beans aren't really my jam but the cheese on top carried the day.
I got the agua de Jamaica to drink and she got the horchata. Easily above par.

We've lived in Carson City, NV for a couple years now and only until now did we visit. We should have visited much sooner!!! Such a fantastic place to visit. Food is extremely tasty and great prices and the service is fantastic. We've met the owner and could not have been more pleasant to chat with. Definitely recommend this family restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

Great authentic Mexican food! Been here 4 times already and the food is consistently good! I have had the caldo de res, flautas, caldo de camarón, and the molcajete everything tasted like home cooked meals. I have recommended them to everyone I know. We will continue to go there.

Food is delicious. My 88 yo mother ate every bite - she never does that. I have been several times and had excellent service and wonderful food every time.

The molcajete was delicious. My wife and daughters ordered pupusas they were great! Great service and friendly employees! The place was very clean and well decorated!

Servers aren't attentive ,food took forever and when I finally started getting food it all came randomly instead of all at once,my order was wrong and nothing was done to correct it by the server and was not taken off the ticket ,the food was different then the 1st days open , service was a big no even when there's only 2 tables total we get forgotten ,i gave many chances to this establishment but it's not getting better.ill try in a few months from now

Worst Mexican food I ever had waste of money and sweeping right next to us when we were eating service bad didn’t even ask for refills

Really bad customer service, they close at 10pm, we arrived to the restaurant at 9:25pm
And the waitress's refused to give us service.

Got a to go order for a business, lady that answered the phone was super friendly and helpful! Carne asada was really good, quessaberria yummy, homemade fresh salsa, papusa yummy, taco salad with carne yummy!! Our only complaint is the nacho cheese sauce they use instead of real cheese on the nachos and nacho fries. Please use real cheese!!
