Had a reservation at 5:00pm only 3 other couples in restaurant. Took 40 minutes to get a salad and another 20 minutes for food.
Chicken Victoria very watery not much flavor and chicken rubbery. Wife got Pollo Chicken with some noodles and carrots Chicken worst then mine she ate maybe 2 bits. No flavor as well. Shared a house salad very small for $8.50 neither dish came with garlic bread disappointing. 2 sodas bill $76.50. Worst dinner in Carson City oh well lesson learned.

Had ersatz veal. A steak knife was provided but a chainsaw was required. This is the first bad meal I have had there, and I have been going there for years. Perhaps it was just a bad night in the kitchen.
Wonderful restaurant. Great food!!
It was great
It’s very hit or miss… 10 years ago, I’d go here more often. A group of us went last January, and 5 out of 10 of enjoyed their dish. Fast forward to tonight, 6 of us ladies came here for New Year's Eve.... We arrived at 5;30 and waited 45-50 minutes after we ordered to receive our food. 1 dish- chicken della casa was served very much cold... another chicken dish - fettuccine Victoria- chicken was chewy and rubbery-I needed a knife. A third dish the pesto on the ravioli separated from the oil otherwise the ravioli were tasty but swimming in oil. They offered a free desert-ice cream and berries were good - cobbler was like pastie dough. The one dish that was good was the cappellini shrimp and scallops. Also chicken Marsala was good (not great). Unfortunately- very disappointing night. I think we will wait 2 years if we decide to try again. We prefer Ti Amo and Bella Vita which we frequent a few times a month….

Neither Garlic bread, bread, or salad is included in the meals. If 2 small eaters share a plate it is a $9.95 inch xtra charge.
Our wine glasses set empty for 15-20 minutes, we had to ask another waitress for help.
Unfortunately- very disappointing night.
Amazing food and service!
I think that the people that own the place are very nice but they need to change their menu a bit. Some things are Italian, But some things are not a lot of the chicken dishes and salmon dishes for sure. Also the front of their menu says steaks and there is no beef at all on the menu, for sure nothing steak! There is veal(no and heck no)
There also is no dessert menu. Nor is there a wine list that I saw. Although they do serve wine it must be a secret.
I'm not saying it's a hard pass just don't go there thinking it's authentic Italian.
The wait was a little long for the server to come take our order and it was busy, There were only 2 of them while that should have been sufficient I suspect they could tidy the way they run things up. No kids menu.
Service was terrible. We saw our waiter 1 time. The hostess took our order and could not tell us anything about the wine. Food was good, but the service made the evening a bust!

I am visiting Carson City on business and was craving some Italian food. Decided to come in to Garibaldi's. Traveling solo I decided to sit at the bar for dinner had some wine, a house salad with some really good ranch dressing and the capellini siciliana. Everything was delicious. The owner and his daughter made me feel welcome and the owner sat down ti chat for awhile. I normally am not a fan of small talk, but it didn't feel like small talk and felt like a genuine conversation. Saw some reviews about service being rude, not sure why they felt that way because my interaction with them and observing them with all patrons felt warm, welcomed and genuine. I will definitely come back here every time I come back here for work. Thanks for the great food and conversation!

Went there on recommendation. Not good idea. Everything was good until we ordered. I ordered Fettucini Victoria with no mushrooms. When my plate arrived, the guys girl waitress told me they put mushrooms on your plate. I and my husband reply I don't like mushrooms she respond you can take them out can you?? I told her again I ordered no mushrooms. She took my plate back and brought back 5 minutes later, and I still found 2 pieces of mushrooms on my plate. Really !! Will never go back, plus their place had an ugly poop smell.
