First time visiting Toki Ona and was pleasantly surprised!! We visited during Cowboy Poetry and I have to say, the food was good and service was surprisingly fast!! Three of us came in and were sat immediately, there was no wait which was awesome. We ordered two Eggs Benedict breakfasts, two bowls of Chicken Noodle Soup, and a BLT with fries and a house side salad. First of all, the soup was so good. Meg from Holiday Inn Express highly recommended this restaurant. When we pulled up its a small family diner look. I was very pleased with every aspect of our visit. We were greeted the minute we opened the door to have a young women sit us immediately. She took our bar order and promptly brought chicken noodle soup family style. 3-star food - soggy, greasy, not particularly flavorful. 2-star facility - old and worn and not particularly clean feeling. 4-star service - quick and welcoming. We wanted to enjoy it! We really did. But we found the place pretty depressing, crowded and the food, well, less than spectacular for darn sure. Kudos to staff who did their best to keep up with the crowd and the kitchen who turned out food super quickly, but in the end it felt a lot like cafeteria food from days gone...read full review
