This place was great. Sadly, I just stopped by on Thursday, Nov 20, and their lights are off with a sign taped to the door that says they are now closed and thanking people for the last 8 years. Guess it means they aren’t coming back. Sad.
I ordered a takeout meal, and while it was a bit unconventional, I understand the direction the restaurant is trying to take. However, I believe they should keep the set pricing traditional. For those who want to build their own meals, that's fine, but when I’m in Los Angeles, the dish is already prepared for you. There’s no need for the back-and-forth! The picture is on the menu, but when you ask for that specific dish, they instead start with the build-your-own bowl...
I came here 2 days in a row. The Bibimbop is that good and great value. Classic Korean flavors with lots of different options to dress up your food.
