Super cool spot! Very clear whoever put it together has a real love for what they do and u can feel and see it the moment you walk in. Definitely a better experience than the ones I've had at the Starbucks next door. Continued success Cakes & Peonies! We'll be back!!!

Went with a group of 10 (mostly kids 7-12) for a Galentines date. It was adorable and the staff was friendly. We ordered three of their shakes and an assortment of macarons and other treats. I will say that the space is much bigger than most cafes. It's open, airy, and a great use of the space. The shakes were delicious but it did take a long time to actually get them. We were the only ones in the cafe and it took a long time to get any of our order even though we didn't order anything that needed to be cooked. Their macarons had a good flavor but the texture was not the greatest. Their cheesecake from the case was also not cold which made it less than palatable. Overall, it was a cute Instagramable experience and cute for our date with our kids but if you're looking for food quality over cuteness, I wouldn't pick this place.

Everything was really nice up until uncovered the avacado. I can't believe you would eat a rotten avacado let alone serve it to your guest. This cost extra btw uggg.

Such cute photo op props ! We chose this as our Thursday brunch spot after our baby gymnastics based on reviews . Around 10:30am this place was empty , spacious and tables were limited and replaced by couches , low center tables and walled flowers . Us moms loved it since we can let our kids walk around in there . The background music is acoustic very calming vibe .Staff is friendly and helpful if you have any questions or recommendations you might need . Never had a Monte Cristo and man oh man where has this been all my life!!!..the combo of sweet and savory yum !

Just for looks. Was super nice on the inside but the service was not great! Took them over 30 minutes to bring me avocado toast! I was there 20 minute before another couple & they ordered after me and got their food 20 mminutes before I did. Then when I said something the cashier didn't believe me when I said I ordered avocado toast. The place wasn't even busy. One other ouple there. My sister also ordered a cookie and she never got it, went to the counter and they didn't believe her either. The chef came up said sorry then opened the case on the counter and gave her the cookie. Bad service food was fine. AND they don't have a changing table! I had to go to the car to change my baby's diaper.

Parking: ample. Location: easy to find. Customer service: great! Food: not bad. We came here with a huge group of friends, causing multiple, separate orders. It was a rough start with getting incorrect order numbers and slow distribution of foods. They were doing their best tho and there was a huge influx of us at once so this is forgivable. However, I don't think they're prepared for a huge crowd. We ordered a Waffle Experience, French Toast Connection, and 2 Macchiatos. Both order came with a choice of 2 eggs, hash potatoes or fruit bowl, and bacon/sausage/(I forget the 3rd option). We ordered the waffles with 2 eggs, a sausage (not sure what kind), and a fruit bowl. The waffles were nice and crunchy but a bit hard. I'm not sure what kind of sausage/bratwurstt it was but it had an after taste of sorts and it was sliced in half but the middle was still cold. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Fruits were ok, berries were tart/sour. The French toast came with 2 eggs, 2pcs of maple bacon, and hash potatoes. This was the better plate of the two. The French toast was pretty good, eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The macchiatos weren't bad. This place has such cute decoration, making it the perfect backdrop for Instagram-worthy pictures. Overall this is a cute hang out spot with "not bad" food. We didn't order any of the shakes so can't comment on those. If we're in the area again, we may give this place another shot.

This place is super cute! The inside looks perfect for Instagram photos The food is also outstanding! I came here with my family for breakfast, and I ordered the one with the waffle. It came with bacon and eggs. It was amazing! The portion is also big, which is perfect for a student like me who can take it to-go to snack on. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back again

If you plan to come here for their popsicles like we did DON'T! They don't have them anymore despite the huge menu they still have hanging on the wall. My daughter tried to order a strawberry cheesecake popsicle and the girl said they don't have popsicles anymore but that they have ice cream and pointed us to the freezer. So we just got a scoop of ice cream in a boring white cup. We asked if they just didn't have the popsicles today or what and she said they just exchanged them whatever that means. So disappointing especially since we drove all the way from the southwest side. What a waste of gas and money! We could've gotten the same Thrifty ice cream down the street from our house for half the price. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Beautiful cafe but overall a disappointing experience. I was excited to hear that a cafe near by had an Ube shake and gourmet popsicles. I ordered an Ube Macapuno popsicle and was disappointed when they said they would no longer be carrying popsicles and would have ice cream available instead. I asked if they had Ube flavored ice cream, they said no and only had the plain boring flavors. So I ordered the Ube crumb shake, the damn thing wasn't even Ube flavored. It was oreo flavored with Ube decoration. This place is clearly style over substance, I would definitely not recommend this place.
