Horizon Cafe at Skyline Hotel & Casino

I came in with my son and husband on the 5th around 11am. We come often food is always good and the prices are just right. This particular day was a nightmare. We had a server that obviously should have just called out. Her name was Nelly she never greeted us, took her over 15 minutes to even come to our table after the hostess at us. Mind you there was only one other person sitting next to us. The restaurant was empty. When she finally came to our table, she rudely asked us What we wanted to drink. Another 15 minutes goes by. She brings our drinks and asked us if we’re ready to order. Her mannerisms were crap. She had the rudest grin on her face. She looked like she was an agony and didn’t wanna be there and like I was just taking her time. I never got a refill on my coffee. My husband finally got a refill on his Dr Pepper, when she brought our check. And even that was an inconvenience. As I was coming up to pay for our food. She stormed out right behind me. Yes, I complained. That was the worst experience I’ve ever had in this restaurant. Too bad Nicole‘s gone.

1 server for the whole restaurant with 1 personnel cleaning tables. The first time we ate there, my food was still frozen when it was served. On the second visit, my order was slightly messed up. The server was nice, though 👌

Really cool older place to eat dinner ! The service was great. All the servers were very nice ! I had the privilege me rib and it was med rare like I asked. My wife had a B L T and loved it.

Having breakfast here is an absolute delight. We sit in the front, in a booth by the counter, just to experience the friendly faces and excellent service we receive from Synamen, Dianne and Joel. They might well be the most professional and very nicest team in all of Las Vegas. Good old-fashioned friendly service with a smile. Best way to start the day. It makes staying at Skyline Hotel special.

The Prime Rib is delicious. They have incredible fries.

The service we receive each time we've been, which is often has always been amazing. Gayle, Cindy, and Jeed are treasures.

This cafe has stolen my heart. Because the employees make you feel like you show up to your aunt home for a good breakfast and some nice hot coffee on the side. Food is always delicious and delivered in a quick manner. I appreciate how I never see the bottom of my cup and the sweetness of the waitress coming to check in on us and how they really know the regulars that come to the cafe you are able to hear it from the conversation which they share and the caring in the voice and this matter and goes along in my eyes. The price is very affordable, and I believe you get a decent amount of food, and it is worth it for the service.
