Ok, so the food was great. Steak burger with cheese, large cheese fry and a banana shake. Problem, only car in the drive thru, took almost 15 minutes from order to receiving the food. I get it that it is hard to find any help these days. That wait time is a killer and without faster service it will be difficult to stay ahead. If you are not in a rush I would say try it, if time is of the essence, come back later.
My official decision is still out. I pass this place on my way home everyday and often want to stop. With Burger Fi across the street the competition is stiffWith Steak n Shake being limited in number but frequently rated a top burger chain across the nation - my expectations were high.I just got a regular cheeseburger my first trip. And really didn't get to focus rating it since I was in a hurry between meetings. I remember it being fresh, fairly priced, but unmemorable....
My daughter wanted to try this place for her birthday, and I'm glad we did. Everyone there was so nice, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the shakes were delicious. We're already talking about what we'll try next when we come back. Nice place too.
