I had an outstanding dining experience at Makai Island Grill! The Chicken Katsu was perfectly crispy, paired harmoniously with flavorful rice and corn. The Mochiko Chicken was a delightful surprise, adding a unique and delicious twist to our meal. The attentive service and inviting ambiance made our visit truly memorable. Five stars for an exceptional culinary journey!
Wife and I came here for lunch. We enjoyed it. The price has gone up by 2 dollars per plate (ie, the picture of the price for the Ono'est on this page is 12.99, now it's 14.99). I got Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, and Hawaiian poke. My sides were mac and the kimchi slaw.Wife got double pork, and chicken, double mac.Pork: Tender and juicy and had the perfect smokey flavor. Updated my review,I can't give a full 5 stars because I've had a very wide range of good and bad experiences here. But!!! The food is so good I can't stay away. I've had missing parts to my order, but got a refund from management. I've had someone else's orders given to me, which is fine I guess. I'm not that picky.
