Been coming here for the playoffs and never had an issue until today. The tables are marked reserved when they are reserved and that allows real fans to sit in the seats when applicable. We got here an hour early to get a good seat for the game and 1/3 of the way through the second quarter and we were rudely told we had to get out of our seats immediately because it was reserved for VIP (even though there was 0 sign of the table being reserved.) The woman ordering us away was extremely rude and lacks professionalism on the highest level. She immediately threatened to escort us out of the building and that was very unnecessary and clearly escalated the situation. She had short brownish hair, wearing an animal print dress and a black blazer. It was very apparent she didn’t do her job correctly and reserve the appropriate tables needed and then decided to become hostile with us when it backfired on her. I’ve never seen such a disgusting display of hospitality in my life. The server walked up to us upon sitting down in a very rude tone demanding we order drinks because there was a minimum at that table (no indication it was reserved and also never have been told that before when sitting in this section.) She then told us we could only order more drinks through the bar under an additional tab separate from what we started with her. She then proceeded to skip our table repeatedly and avoid refilling our drinks to the point we had to approach her for refills. Overall, this entire experience was highly upsetting and very disappointing. I will never return here because I cannot fathom the treatment we received after spending money in your establishment. It reeks that if you aren’t “VIP” at this off strip, on stephanie and sunset casino, you don’t matter! Don’t waste your time or money here. They don’t know how to treat people and don’t care to learn.

The Race & Sports Book at Sunset Station is one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem compared to the bigger, flashier sportsbooks on the Strip. It's spacious, comfortable, and definitely geared toward locals who want a laid-back place to watch a game without the chaos or crowds. It's a newly remodeled space that's easily accessible from the surface parking lot out front, and it's a real beauty.
Let me be clear from the get-go: I am NOT a sports bettor and never have been. I do not come here to place bets or gamble on sporting events, but I come here to watch games with other fans.
The seating is plentiful and the screens are massive. There are plenty of them too, so you'll always find your game. With major events, almost every screen will be tuned in with the SOUND ON!
The vibe is casual and way more relaxed than the tourist-heavy casinos, and my friend who does a lot of in-person sports betting says the staff is usually friendly and efficient when it comes to placing bets.
It might not have the glitz of a Caesars or MGM sportsbook, but that's part of its charm. This area at Sunset is a clean, comfortable, and reliable spot to spend a Sunday on football season or catch a big fight or hockey or basketball game without the Strip prices or headaches.

TERRIFIC REMODEL OF SUNSET STATION SPORTSBOOK. AWESOME. VERY WELL LIT. ROOMY. LOTS OF TABLES, CHAIRS, ETC.
MULTIPLE GIGANTIC SCREENS FOR VIEWING. BETTER THAN GVR & DURANGO, BY FAR. THE SPORTSBOOK BARTENDERS ARE GREAT. SHOULD HAVE COFFEE MACHINES IN BAR AREA, BARTENDERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WALK ACROSS CASINO FLOOR TO GET COFFEE FOR PATRONS. THAT MAKES NO SENSE, WHOEVER (MANAGEMENT) DECIDED THAT.

Depressing xD go play craps
A good place to watch big sporting events. Only complaints are the reserved seating and not enough seats for people. I find it easier to just sit at a machine and turn the chair around

Nice new sports book. HOWEVER, your gaming is constantly interrupted by the loud sound of rolling carts on textured concrete floors. You think they would have put smooth floors in. PLEASE Sunset, consider quieter wheels on those carts. Sensory overload. Annoying.

Checked in for our reservation with Deb. Kind and efficient! Food was general bar food - not exceptional but very tasty. Our server lacked experience and attention to detail. We had to bus our own table and we were brought a bucket of beer with no ice. Spoke to Deb about our issues and she was very receptive. Will definitely return for another event.
The New and Improved STN sportsbook is amazing!!

Screens kept locking up and there were sound issues…lots of bugs to work out. Management more worried about pushing people out of reserve seats that had zero reservations. I won’t be back…Westgate is so much better for sports!
Did not know there was a $300.00 minimum booking. Pretty high for no food involved. Removed our self because that was too much alcohol too consume for 3 person's. It is a very nice sportsbook.
I’ve always had such a great time here. There’s always plenty of seats and the staff is really friendly if you want to change the game.

Nice local spot. Some cigarette smoke but not completely saturated. They have attendants that are constantly cleaning machines and the areas around the casino which is nice.
Kid-friendliness: They have Kids Quest so you can drop your 12yrs and under off to play while you play in the casino.
