Absolutely love this place. You have to drive a ways away from the strip but it beats waiting 4 hours in line for the Oyster bar in Palace Station. The Pan Roast is delicious! I'm sure the rest of the food is good too but I love their Pan Roast so much that I always end up ordering that. The service was fantastic! My wife even was even given a key lime pie for her birthday - also was great! Can't wait to come here again.

We asked for the special and the waitress told us - salmon with hollandaise and asparagus- the order came as salmon with teriyaki sauce and green beans- never even mentioned the change. Spoke to the chef after and he made no apologies - just said that was wrong and she should not have told us that. We have been here at least once a month - the menu has changed and each time it has less and less on the menu. Now only one dessert - key lime pie- they had beignets before that were great! They had fish and chips, grilled salmon, and fried shrimp too. We won't be back until they change the menu.

Tides Oyster Bar- Food was great. Service was also great. Restaurant felt cold and a little bit like a cafeteria. Needs a warmer atmosphere. A little sad that the menu didn't include scallops and maybe oysters served another way other than on the half shell. We came for my husbands 64th birthday-he loves oysters. I had the Alaskan Chowder and it was amazing.

The dishes that we had were delicious. The food came out hot and plentiful. The waitress we had was very attentive and told us about all the specials they had for that day. We will definitely be going back.

The oysters were fresh and delicious. Only one salad option on the menu, and it was only ok. Linguini with clams was tasty but very watery--so messy to eat. Service was attentive, and we were able to watch an NFL playoff game on one of the many tvs inside the restaurant. Would go back for oysters but probably not for anything else.

Everyone from the hostess to Jon our server was great. Just not a fan of the new menu. Need to be able to get at least a sandwich and bring back the cobb salad. I didn't want to go but my husband didn't want pizza or mexican and he likes the one dish Alaskan Chowder. I ended up with the clam chowder, which is good but very heavy.

Great food, panroast, but stop taking items off the menu ( nothing grilled or fried, hello seafood?) Without checking what your patrons enjoy and want to see. You removed the sushi bar ( was excellent), chargrilled oysters, fish and chips....?

They only had mid grade gulf oysters available. Out of oysters, out of a draft beer, out of lobster on NYE AT 5. Service was just ok—not speedy or good. Just ok. Will not be returning.

Everything was great! Esp our server Shannon was great! She was attentive and had the best temperament. This is quickly becoming our favorite Oyster Bar at Station Casinos! Have a happy new year!

Shannon was a great server. Food was good. I would like to see smaller serving so we could get better pricing. Miss there old menu. Only salad is Caesar, no longer has the Cobb (which was delicious) and still miss having sushi.

Went there on a Sunday at 6 PM and was surprised to see very few people in attendance. The menu shrunk a bit but still had popular dishes. They ran out of a few items within the offered selections. Just an OK experience.

Casual dining at its best when looking for a good seafood spot. The food and service are always spot on, it's what I love the most about The Tides, it's always a good choice!

My wife and I "obviously" made the mistake of trying to dine at this place at 8 pm on a Saturday night. You see, they close at 9, so if you show up at 8, you get the bums rush treatment. Where to begin. Rushed service by a pushy waitress. Not that she was busy, because if you've been to this place recently, you know it's the red-headed stepchild of GVR's suite of restaurants and was filled to 2% capacity. No, she was more interested in running our order out as fast as possible and returning to her parking spot at the bar to complain about our late arrival. We ordered an appetizer of oysters and a couple of pan roasts. The oysters came out, and before I could finish enjoying 1, Bam!, the pan roasts were there! Now, I've enjoyed pan roasts at both Palace and Sunset Station, and I know from experience you're not getting quality in 5 minutes. These were nothing short of disgusting. Oil floating on top. The rice was hard, and the sauce was very salty and almost vinegary (word?). Oh, and the ch3ck was delivered with the pan roasts.I'm not going on anymore, but to say we will never go to that flaming pile of a restaurant ever again and to pray that they didn't destroy a great pan roast for me in the future. If I could, I would've rated them a zero.By the way. A special Thanks for nothing goes out to "Amy" in food and beverage for GVR. She was the one they sent over to lodge a complaint with. She seemed authentic and surprised by the horrible dining experience, but untrue to her word, she couldn't put forth the effort to even get back to me. Dine at your own risk at Tides. I just think they don't care anymore. Big stain at GVR.
