Amazing details to the food and service. This was the best meal that I've ever had in my life! Definitely splurge and do the full tasting menu, it's worth it! The corn nut foie gras covered in cotton candy was amazing! Wagyu cooked on a stone tableside was a great experience and melted in my mouth. I thought the shrimp cocktail could be replaced on that menu, it's too ordinary for this restaurant. Also, the dessert was not the wow factor of the rest of the meal....
Our server kept pressuring us to get the set tasting menu, and to eat more food even though we were only interested in a lighter dinner. He even returned to our table after he took our order down to insist we get a few more things. Theres being helpful to offer guidance as a server, and then there’s upselling for the sake of upselling, and that left a bad taste unfortunately.
