We were fortunate enough to eat at Bazaar Meats almost 2 weeks ago. We opted for the smaller tasting menu which had 14 courses since the cost of 2 steaks would have been approximately the same amount with sides and appetizers. We wanted to taste a variety of food since everything on the menu looked good and we were having difficulty deciding. While the food was delicious and very creative, there were too many courses. We were incredibly impressed with the small plates, but the steak was underwhelming. 1) We got the angus-wagyu American breed. It was high quality, but needed a bit of fat trimmed, the thickest fat pieces were not perfectly rendered. The crust was not as impressive as at Cut, and the gradient region was a bit thick. Loved the new location. Decor is more modern and sleek but retains the same personality and charm of the original restaurant. The service is top tier as always with great suggestions for the table. Overall great dining experience. Will be visiting next time we go.
