The Blue Skillet offers friendly service, the best coffee in town, and delicious Belgium waffles and fresh fruit crepes. The restaurant is clean with ample parking. Despite arriving close to closing, the food was tasty with good portion sizes. The Western omelette had too much cheese, but the pancakes, whether regular or with strawberry compote, were mouthwatering and a must-try. The menu has improved, with the meat lovers skillet now perfectly seasoned and the sourdough toast on the side being perfect. The portions are great, and the service is excellent. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its French toast, which many customers plan to try. The environment is always good, with families gathering, but it can get pretty busy with a line at times. The construction next door is a temporary downside. The food shows love and care, from fluffy eggs to crispy hashbrowns and soft, buttery pancakes, made fresh and in-house. Although there is no alcohol, the food is delicious, and the staff is attentive. The house potatoes are considered the best, and some suggest adding options like Beyond Meat or fake bacon for those who do not eat animals. The lack of avocados is noted as odd, but overall, the restaurant remains a favorite for many.
