Casa Tlaquepaque Reviews
The place has beautiful details and decoration.
The food was delicous and the atmosphere filled with the traditional mariachi music and personal attention from the owners, gives the place an A+.

Well it was closed. Ie they only work fri sat and Sunday and my group meeting was in Thursday at 1pm. On Wednesday they have announced the closing on their door (not to our group tour) putty I wanted to try their games oxtail soups
We tried a little bit of everything (Torta Ahogada, Carne En Su Jugo, combination plate) but the only thing we liked was the Barbacoa and the tortillas.
Everything else was underwhelming, the Tepache was way too sugary and didn’t have that fermented punch a Tepache should have.
Was pretty bummed out considering this place has been on my list for 3+ years, brought a group of 6 as soon as they opened and they did not seem eager to serve us.

Casa Tlaquepaque is a charming restaurant that offers hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a welcoming setting. The dishes are presented nicely, and the drinks are tasty. The Guadalajara plate is a highlight, featuring a torta ahogada, carnitas tacos dorados, and a pig's foot. The decor gives the place a friendly, homey feel, although some may find the music a bit loud during busy times. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a lovely setup and decor that makes it look authentic. Service is attentive, but at times, it may seem a little hurried or overwhelmed, especially when staff is limited. Overall, Casa Tlaquepaque provides a pleasant dining experience with savory portions and a lively atmosphere.
