“Baked BBQ Buns remain to be the star of our meals at Tim Ho Wan. We enjoyed the Deep Fried Eggplant with Shrimp and Fried Pork Chop. Despite the restaurant being in the casino, it does not smell like smoke. Although, if we have kids in tow, it would be nice to have a door facing the parking so we can enter without passing the casino.“

“This was our first visit to Genting Palace. From our arrival to exit, this dining experience was incredible. Manny, our server, was attentive and professional throughout our meal. Even though we chose the buffet, he was making sure that we were enjoying our meal every step of the way. The buffet was the best we have ever had. “Fast friendly service with very tasty food. Been back a few times for the seafood dumpling noodle soup. Other items are hit and miss, but staples like the shrimp roll, pot stickers, and shu mai are all really good. Always try different items when I come, but never miss the seafood dumpling noodle soup. Always order ahead for easy takeout with no wait.“

“Relaxed atmosphere. Servers are very attentive & food came right after each other. All very delicious & food ordered for the kids are on point. Our first time to dine in but always ordered for pick up. Will definitely be back for more.“

“Took some stars off for service due to the waitress rushing us hard-core, and the store itself was kind of fishy smelling - but the food itself made up more than enough for it. I had the orange chicken - it was glazed lightly and had the perfect crunch. Was absolutely delicious.“

“This place has decent dim sum and I like it better than some other fancy places that most people always mentioned in the foodie scene. It is not fancy and the services are hit and miss but the one item I really like here is the chicken feet. Yup, that’s the one item I would/will always return for cuz they are good here!

The serve dim sum thru the carts and it gets crowded here sometimes so make sure you plan ahead to get in the queue! They will give you a number for your party and while they move fast, sometimes it does take 20 min or so before you are seated.

They have the usual dim sum items here and I the last time I was here, I noticed some tables order their menu items instead of the dim sum. That gives me another incentive to come back for more chicken feet and explore non dim sum items later!

They have all kinds of goodies in their carts and it’s better of you come in a large group so you get to try different things easily. We always grab the usual items and extra chicken feet cuz we really like how they cook it here.

Don’t expect top of the line customer service here but the wait staff do try to attend to you as best as they can. What you want is how often those carts come around so you can get the items you want and those ladies do make their way over to your table as much as they can.

“Ordered delivery bbq pork, has more fat than normal on the tips thats more often used for roast pork. The meat taste is fine, but the amount of oil is disgusting, you get what you pay for

Edit 2 I came back, ordered bunch of other stuff. Quality is ok, value is aright. I mainly just like HK food so much LOL“

“place was PACKED, make a res if you can because it might be a wait for a table. we didn't have one bad dish, got the steamed flounder with black bean sauce, fried shrimp, pea sprouts, and yang chow fried rice. would definitely come back and recommend to a friend, might scare the tourists tho.“
