Food/Taste/ - craving some seafood so came for some seafood boil! We ordered two lunch specials one with shrimp (head on), clams, and corn & potato; the second with shrimp (head on), mussels, and noodle in bag. Both wth Cap't Loui sauce but at different spice levels. All the seafood were great with the shell easy to peel. There were a few mussel and clam shells that were empty so it's a bit disappointing since you only get 3 to 4 per bag. The sauce was great with a garlicky base....read full review
THE BEST SEAFOOD BOIL IN THE TOWN PERIOD. I've been to several other places but this place is legit and the best. Guaranteed. We had snow crabs and the ingredient quality was superb and above our expectations. If you like spicy food, definitely try Med spicy for the first time and then raise your bar. Garlic noodle is a perfect match for spicy because it calms down your tongue and helps you eat indefinitely. Honestly, I was just super happy to find a quality seafood boil spot that stays open late.Strolled into Cap't Loui for a late night mother-daughter dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We stopped in about an hour before close. Quick note: the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing time - at least that's what the sign on the door says.
