My husband and I got meals from Chef on the Road this week as they opened up business to serving our place of residence at Auric and to our neighbors at Park Haven, and the food tasted amazing. It was packaged with lots of care so it keeps well and the price was definitely right for the portion and quality. The chef is friendly and his delivery person is quite nice as well. I feel the quality of the food is that of a restaurant. We will definitely order from them again and this time, we will plan ahead and do it the right way. There was some confusion on Tuesday and they were nice enough to drive back to us just so we could buy lunch from them. We just ate our hot meal this evening and it tasted wonderful! “Went to this place many times on an extended stay here in Las Vegas staff is very friendly and helpful although I did ask for butter with my pancakes as it said on the menu comes with butter and maple syrup but they said no butter the butter's in the batter then my friend at lunch got waffles again no butter although it says butter on the menu board again they said no butter I think they should have butter. I liked the Cuban sandwich enough to have it twice! They were nice enough to give me extra pickles and I added some mayonnaise and a little mustard and it was just perfect The crispy garlic over rice was outstanding everybody loved it nice and sweet“

“Becky and her team at All About Catering Las Vegas made my daughter’s birthday party absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bartender kept the drinks flowing with refreshing cocktails. The desserts were a huge hit—both the ice cream bar and dessert bar and the beautiful cake, we had something for everyone! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the amazing spread. “I'm going to be blunt. Today I enjoyed the Kali Mist sandwich for lunch at the Rainbow location. I ordered the 12 incher blunt. Cory the bud tender was right on when he suggested the spicy club. He's not really a bud tender since only the names of cannabis strains are served. But he's a great bar tender! Served me the red edition watermelon flavor, first time I've consumed a Red Bull. Starting to feel vitamins and caffeine pulsing thru my body in a good way. In the 1990s I sometimes dined at the original Cheba Hut in Tempe, Arizona. Awesome delightful experience in toasted sandwiches whether the hut was in Tempe in the old days or in Vegas today. Keep up the good work, Cheba Hutters!

“The fried chicken blueberry sliders were excellent! Our waitress Olivia was great, if I lived in the area this would be my go to place for sure. We had a party of 5, and sat at a table reserved for parties of 5. Our waitress was nervous to tell us about the automatic gratuity of 18 percent at these tables. Poor thing should not have to be nervous to tell customers about a gratuity policy! I can imagine people being pissed, or rude but I would say if you didn't plan on tipping ATLEAST that much, please order your food to go! Olivia is so sweet and a good waitress:)“

“I am sharing my experience after having ordered from Doanburi three times, but wishing I have ordered more often!

The Owner: Doanburi is run by Chef Jae Doan. Each time I’ve picked up my order, the chef herself brought it to the counter and thanked me personally. Chef Jae is a former chef from Las Vegas’ finest Japanese restaurants including Mizumi and Morimoto. In a mostly male dominated business, Chef Jae’s culinary accomplishments stood out enough to become one of the first female sushi chefs on the strip.

The Business: Doanburi is a cloud kitchen format, which is an efficient way for restaurants to offer their food in our busy world. You place your order for pick up or delivery from a third party. I am lucky enough to live 1 mile from Doanburi, so I always pick up the order myself.

The Food: If I had to use one word it would be INCREDIBLE! Eating here will ruin your expectations of any other sushi restaurant. The quality of each individual ingredient is exceptional! The ginger appears hand-sliced. The wasabi root is REAL wasabi ground with a fine grater. Even the soy sauce is decidedly better than what you might pick up at the grocery store. To match the excellent quality of food, the presentation is remarkable. Black napkins, durable paper bags with handles, and banana leaves underneath the sushi roll. The portions are perfect. There is no extra rice wrapped up in the sushi like you find at lower quality restaurants. Just the perfect amount to compliment the fish and other ingredients.

You can’t go wrong ordering anything here. But in particular you must try the Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon. The Sea Salt Caramel Flan is a wonderful desert to add on to your order as well. If you’ve made it this far, just go ahead and give Doanburi a try because it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve had many sushi experiences in Las Vegas, but this is the only one worth leaving a review for!

“Owner was very nice and responded quickly. He also was passionate about his business and thankfully helped me load all of the food in my car. Was planning on using an Italian chain but decided to support our small businesses and I'm glad we did! We ordered the Half tray Bow tie Garlic Chicken Italian Melody and the Full tray of Manicotti & Marinara with cheese for a catering event at the school and it was plenty of food for everyone. The Manicotti & Marinara was definitely the star of the show with it being basically gone by the end. We'll be trying the pizza next time too!

“I live in Colorado, so I contacted Talia a few months before our event to make sure we could book the venue and send our party invites early enough for family/friends to prepare coming from out of town. She was so quick to respond and even helped us with food recommendations for our party. She sent pictures and answered the many questions that I had about food and the venue. Weeks before the event, she followed up to arrange viewing the event in person.We met her face to face and found that she was just as easy to work with in person. We showed up and immediately asked us what we needed help with. She even kept our cakes in the fridge until it was time to sing Happy Birthday. Talia is so kind, very helpful and accommodating, and felt just like family.The venue is very fun and family-oriented. We had a handful of kids that really enjoyed writing on the walls and bouncing around balloons that we blew up. The adults LOVED the unlimited sodas and bar option. The backdrop for photos was a big hit too! Talia also put on some of our favorite music through Spotify (I believe).I would be very happy and comfortable hiring Talia again! “They serve on base and I eat their food about once a week, typically fridays as they have Fish tacos those days (limited amount, sucks when they run out). After the fish tacos their carne asada nachos are really good and the portions are ridiculously huge, I never finish them and usually share with a co-worker, the operators are usually really friendly and have good memories, they almost always know what I order. they’re a little pricey about $15-$20 a meal but for the convenience and quality of the food it’s worth it. They only thing that would make it better is if they sold cigarettes.“
