We were so excited to try it . Although a little further from Henderson, but worth the drive . The tartare , carpaccio and the scallop and salmon roll were delicious. Sai took care of us and were very hospitable , Katie was great and chef took the time to say hello.
We will be back soon !

If you’re craving premium japanese cuisine, Doanburi will not disappoint. Fish was super fresh, you can tell they care about the quality of cuts they’re serving. Everything tasted high quality without being overcomplicated. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Thank you to Sai and Chef Jae for such a welcoming and pleasant experience.

New restaurant that I highly recommend to visit.
Me and my friends had excellent dinner tonight. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and fresh food. Each position from the menu deserves to be tried.

Wagye beef gyoza, mushroom medley, shishito pepper, uni toast and sweet shrimp/scalope/caviar from appetizers was top starters that I definitely ordered again next time.
Precious plate sashimi, king crab roll and a5 Wagye as main was delicious.
Mochi green tea restaurant version was interesting.

Having just returned from a vacation in Japan, we were wondering how the food here would compare. I'm happy to say it was beyond delicious—everything tasted fresh and clean and completely exceeded our expectations.

The standout dishes included the crispy Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, uni toast, crispy rice salmon, Beyond Rainbow Roll, and the chirashi... definite must-haves!!

My husband and friend ordered the Wagyu-Infused Old Fashioned, and apparently they'd never tasted anything like it. They loved it so much they each had a second one (and at $25 a pop, that says a lot! 😂).

When Rick, our excellent server, suggested bringing out all the desserts—the cookies and cream mochi ice cream, matcha mochi ice cream, and strawberry shortcake—we had zero regrets agreeing to it.

The mochi ice cream wasn't like the typical version you get at AYCE Japanese restaurants. Think of it as deconstructed mochi ice cream: a scoop of ice cream blanketed in a delicate sheet of mochi with a cookie element on the bottom. Yes... supremely delectable.

The strawberry shortcake didn't disappoint either. NGL, I'd come back just for the desserts. ☺

We're grateful we had the opportunity to catch up over such an incredible meal at this lovely restaurant. A huge thank you to Rick and the rest of the staff for their attentive service—keeping our water glasses full, serving each dish, and clearing the table so seamlessly. And of course, a big shout-out to the chef!

All in all, we had a wonderful experience and left with happy hearts and very full tummies. It was a bit expensive, but we did order a lot of food... and it was totally worth it!

Its a shame they sacrificed food quality over ambiance. I had their takeout before and it was phenomenal and now sushi buffet has a better quality

This place is definitely worth all the praise and Chef Jae deserves her flowers for Doanburi. The dining room is so beautiful and luxe, with service being welcoming the second you walk in.
The fish is fresh and colorful, and the accompanying ingredients are well thought out and beautifully prepared. No gimmicks. Just gorgeous food. The housemade soy sauce really brought everything up a few notches. The freshly made wasabi is also worth adding to the dishes. We ordered the treasure box, surf and turf, and crabby crab roll, and a few starters. I don't think you could make a wrong choice here. If you have room for dessert the mochi ice cream has a soy sauce caramel that is highly craveable. I can't wait to return and enjoy this restaurant with friends and try more menu items.
