Love this place!! Everyone here is so gracious and kind, from the hostess to the waiter. And the food is delicious and fresh! My family and I have been coming to Dona Maria since 2002 and it never disappoints. Be sure to get their delicious Margaritas!!

We used to come here more often and order out all the time, but they got SO EXPENSIVE. $22 for a burrito plate is craaaazy. And $12 for a small bowl of ceviche? 😭 Since COVID they increased all of their menu items by at least $3. 🥲 The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like for this price you can get better quality somewhere else.

Awesome tamales!
As we continue our journey to find a great local Mexican restaurant, we recently had the pleasure of dining at Dona Maria’s Summerlin, and it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant was clean and well-kept for its age. According to our server, it opened back in 1998.
I tried their famous tamales, one pork and one beef. Both were absolutely delicious, though I found the pork slightly better. The masa was perfectly cooked, and the fillings were flavorful and generous. My wife ordered the beef taquitos, which were served piping hot. They were crispy on the outside and filled with tender, well-seasoned beef. The chips and salsa were kept filled throughout our meal.
The service was top-notch as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, Dona Maria Summerlin is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. We will definitely be returning soon!

Had the enchilada special... they were great, beans and rice were also good... salad was cold and crisp. We had a big party and the service was great... everything came out quickly and hot. Will definately return! 🙂
