“I love my new found in Las Vegas. We were visiting and were looking for a healthy restaurant with plant based/vegan options. This place was close to our hotel. They also open early. They have a separate vegan menu.
We were able to eat there, drink coffee and tea, and also had a delicious vegan platter and another dish called Shiro with injera before we drove home.
We decided that this place offered the most delicious and the healthiest vegan food in Las Vegas. The dishes were not oily nor salty. They were the perfect balance.
The portions were great and we were able to bring leftovers home with us for dinner.
The service was great and attentive. The lady who served us was very nice, like a mom.
The other side of the room was decorated nicely in Ethiopian way. It would have been nice to come for dinner, a nice atmosphere!“

“I always make it a point to visit Ethiopian restaurants when I travel, and I came here based on a recommendation I found on Reddit. I’m glad I did!

We ordered the special kitfo, shiro, and awaze tibs firfir, and everything was delicious. The kitfo was especially fresh and flavorful, and each dish was well seasoned and full of authentic Ethiopian flavor. It was a bit spicy for my husband but was good for me. The injera was excellent, and the bread served with the meal was fresh and tasty as well. The food reminded me of the meals I grew up eating while living in Ethiopia, which made the experience even more special.

If you’re hoping to try the vegetarian platter, I believe it’s only available on Wednesdays and Fridays, though they did have shiro available when we visited.

Our food came out quickly after ordering, which we appreciated. The only minor downside was that checkout was a bit slow, but it wasn’t enough to take away from the overall experience.

If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food while visiting Las Vegas, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“When Merkato closed some years back, I gave up on the hunt for good Ethiopian food.. One of my best friends let me know about this gem that I seemed to have looked over. BEST ETHIOPIAN FOOD IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS.
My favorite dish is the awaze tibs. They did not disappoint. Flavor was ON POINT! They served the lamb without bones as well.. major plus! I have eaten twice through delivery and food came at perfect temp. They serve a plentiful helping! Do yourself a favor… grab a bite!“

“omg so me and mother are driving to oregon from texas and my family lives in Las Vegas so we stopped here to spend time with them.on our journey. they asked meast night what I wanted to eat and the only thing I could think of that (I didnt cook) was ethiopian food. I had a feeling that Vegas would have some delicious ethiopian food and omg I was so right!!! not only was this place super affordable ,but her vegetable combo included multiple different types of lentils, 100% teff injera and it was spicy spicy spicy. extremely traditional, while still being DELICIOUS. it was so good I called the restaurant back AFTER I devoured it and a woman named Alaine answered and she assured me she prepared it AND the restaurant is owned by her!!! I am extremely humbled and would recommend to anyone in vegas or anyone passing through vegas. 10 stars!!!!“
