The food was a bit disappointing. The corn was very watery. You could tell it had just been sitting in water. No butter or salt. The green beans were dry and rubbery. I had to send them back. The ribs were just ok and the chicken was good. No it’s no Famous Dave in Nashville but they could really use a Soul Food cook. If I was retired I could help them rock this place.

Had not been to Famous Dave's on Blue Diamond for a couple of years. We arrived at 5:30 to beat any rush, and good thing as they were short staffed. This review is a major shout-out to our server, Kelly C. Evidently it was only her and one other server, who we rarely saw. Kelly was acting as hostess, tending bar, waiting on many tables - a real spark plug, plus gave first-class service. What an asset; she deserves a raise! Hadn't been there for so long as weren't...

We eat here at least once per week! Food is always excellent, burgers are the best in all of town, corn bread is perfect, and Debora provides sweetest most attentive service! She remembers our usual orders and adds a personal touch to our experience.
