All the food is great tasting and fresh!
Fausto's Mexican Grill on Silverado Pkwy near Placid is awesome! In my several visits there, I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered on their menu. Today (10/6/2026), I am thoroughly enjoying Fausto's awesome (chicken) Taco Tuesday Special! The tacos are very fresh and well-prepared, with large hot, crispy, and tasty corn tortilla shells; cold and crisp shredded lettuce; and generous fillings of hot, tender, and tasty chicken (breast/white meat). Based on reviews, Fausto's Mexican Grill offers amazing authentic Mexican food. The beans and rice are tasty, and the enchiladas, burritos, and breakfast burritos are great. Specific menu items mentioned include the Nevada burrito, sausage burrito, chorizo burrito, and chicken rolled tacos. The food is made quickly, comes out fast and fresh, and is a great value. One burrito can easily feed two people. The restaurant has a true family owned vibe and is family owned and operated. The dining area is very clean and cute, and the store is always clean.
