Firefly Tapas Kitchen + Bar Reviews
I lived in Spain for a couple years and since then I have missed the ambiance, the culture, and the food of Spain. While visiting Las Vegas, we found Firefly Tapas and it was wonderful! It was such an authentic experience with great food and friendly staff. It took me right back to the cafes of Madrid! I highly recommend Firefly!
We had our 2nd dinner at Firefly last night. We will visit them every time we come to town. The variety and quality is outstanding. Loved the ceviche, chicken empanadas, shrimp diavola. Service is excellent. We sat at the bar And watched the NFL playoffs. 😍
The small plates were flavorful and portioned generously. My hugest disappointment, which is what I was most looking forward to, was the paella. But as you can see in the picture it was extremely dry and over cooked. The seafood was just laid out on top. I’ve eaten paella in several different places and never had any presented this horribly this over cooked.

Firefly Tapas Kitchen + Bar is a solid spot for Spanish food and a great place for a light brunch or drinks. The ambiance is casual and decent, though the Buffalo location is much smaller and feels tight, not ideal for large groups. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and kind, with awesome, fast service noted, though at one location the drinks took a long time and weren't very good.
The menu features delicious tapas, described as small bites with excellent quality. Portions are small, which can feel a bit small for the prices, but the food is tasty and worth every penny. Standout dishes include the chicken skewers, roasted potatoes, patatas bravas, manchego mac and cheese, chocolate '3 leches' dessert, ceviche, stuffed dates, and steak skewers. The lamb and steak y papas are called phenomenal. Some staples are average, and the tortilla española comes in just four tiny pieces. The restaurant offers good value, with consistently amazing cocktails. It's a go-to spot that never disappoints, even for kids. Karaoke is featured on Saturday nights, and the space can be a bit chilly.
